Choose File > New to create a new image window. |

Specify the size of your image, select Transparent for Contents, name it, and click OK. |

Choose the Custom Shape tool . |

Choose a custom shape from the Shape pop-up palette in the options bar. |

Click the Color selection box in the options bar, and select a color using the Color Picker. |

Select a Layer style using the pop-up palette in the options bar. |

Click and drag to create the shape in your document. |

If you'd like to modify the style, choose Layer > Style > Style Settings, and adjust the settings until you are satisfied with the result. |

Choose File > Save For Web. |

Make sure that the Optimized File Format selected is GIF, and that Transparency is checked. |

Click OK, and choose a name and location for your button file. |
